Becky & Dale - Engagement Session - a bit late!

We have posted so many weddings and other things the last few months that we have missed a lot of baby, children and engagement sessions from the last four months. I was getting this session ready to archive off our server and it was so wonderful - I felt I would put it on the blog. Becky and Dale got married June 13th so this is a little tardy. Oh well -here they are - a beautiful couple. Stewart

Little Ms. Brianna - a busy day as a fashion DIVA

"Hi - my name is Brianna. I am  a fashion diva. Really - the things they make me do. First I have to smile and be adorable on cue. Look at my ear rings - I am too cool. Then a short stroll - I am so wobbly - this walking thing is tuff. Next I drowned some flowers in the fountain and found some treasure. work work work!!! A quick wardrobe change - and I chased bubbles forever. Work, work. There must be some child labor laws involved here. It is hot out here. Another wardrobe change and we are off to the nice cool studio so I can be cute and precocious on a cloud background. What a day. I am famished!"

Gator Cheer Team 2009-10

Here are the new official Univ.of Fl. Cheer Team photos by Susan and I. This is our second year as the photographer for this group of delightful young men and women. We did some pics of the flags without people so that we could "replace" these blurry ones with sharp ones via the magic of Photoshop. So these are not the final views -but pretty good if you ask me. We sure love working with Coach Candi and the lovable mascots - Albert & Alberta.  Thanks to all. Stewart

Gainesville is blessed to have an amazing community of wedding vendors! There are usually 4 Bridal Expos/Shows a year and we just got the info for the Jays show in September...Check it out we'll be there!

Amber & Johann - A sunny, beautiful wedding Part 1

This was a fun wedding on a very hot day - and we did most of the photographs and the ceremony outdoors. It is a good thing that Kannapaha Botonical Gardens has such a great porch and the service was at sunset. In hindsight Amber and Johann may have been optomistic about the heat index for a late June wedding in Florida. They live in Yankee territory. I personally drank seven bottles of water/Gatorade and had to change shirts after the ceremony. I always bring spare shirts in the Florida summers.

As you will see from the variety and activity of the images we had a very active and fun bridal party. The heat did not deter anyone - and the bride was so very gorgeous ( a red head) -  it was our pleasure to create these images. Part 2 in a few days.

Brody's First Birthday Portraits!

Little man, Brody just celebrated his first birthday. He was having so much fun playing in the garden....the smiles on his face speak volumes! But not much can compare to diving into your first birthday cake. Needless to say, the garden hose was required at the conclusion of the cake demolition! Happy Birthday Brody! The Brannan family - at home with great kids & cars

On location family portraits is a specialty of ours. It always is fun and prrsents us with some interesting challenges.  Finding a good "prop" is always good. As we unloaded our car I saw the mystery sports car under a tarp. We had a great session with five grandkids, parents, children and grandparents. Then we fired up the beautiful, "authentic replica"  Shelby Cobra GT for a few photos.  That may be an oxymoron. Good times. Stewart & Susan

The Ladies of the Gainesville Solutions Bridal Designer House

Some days I get to do work that cannot be called work. Such as creating new "mugshots" for the beautiful and elegant ladies employeed at the Gainesville Solutions Bridal Designer House. The manager Tali asked me to make these images of the girls for their website and other purposes. Truthfully - I would have had to work to make a bad photo with subjects as lovely as these.
