Ali's mom and dad have a job that has taken them from Gainesville to Chicago. Mom had always wanted to create a portrait of Ali while they lived here but a crazy busy schedule never let that happen. So when a trip to visit family brought them within 100 miles of here, she decided to make a special trip to have her portrait made. We were able to show her the portraits the same day so she could select them before she left to go back to Chicago! Ali had a great time playing...she must have caught a hundred bubbles! We had a great time photographing....Ali made our day! Hugs, Susan

Recent Weddings - Angela & David Pt. 2
The photos tell the story - love and fun. It was a terrific wedding in every way. Look for lots of kissing, twirling brides, romance, cheers, gators, duo-tone photos, rock climbing, IF b&w photos, Vikings, stadiums, and a heavy petting ending. Some classic poses and some modern bride fashion. - Stewart

Recent Weddings - Angela & David Pt. 1
David loves his lady Angela and she is a beauty. They are a great couple and recently had a terrific wedding at the Baughman Center and a reception at the Best Western. Susan and I and our assistant Amanda had a great time photographing this wedding. There is mucho visual variety with our typical two camera/view Editorial coverage plus Amanda with the infrared camera.
Look for lots of kissing, twirling brides, romance, cheers, gators, duo-tone photos, rock climbing, IF b&w photos, Vikings, stadiums, heavy petting, etc. Some classic poses and some modern bride fashion. Plus a great photo by the groom when he picked up the IF camera for a few snaps. Stewart

Amy & a C n K Album - Our Designer Shows Off
Clearly Amy is totally gorgeous and hot - no one can take a bad photo of her.
This album was a extra project for our graphic designer Elise. I gave her two folders of images that we had created for our friend Amy. I said Elise go wild. Elise made a "designer" C n K album. I love it. What do you think?

2009 Texas School - Powers Class - Curves & Kisses Session
Our last session was a Curves & Kisses session with Michelle. We teach this style of photography because paper is the first anniversary gift - so what better gift for the groom than some elegant, sexy photos of his wife. Michelle was a sport and she has awesome legs. Susan demonstrated in class how she retouches the photos and how to design albums and collages. The last photo fell is some maple syrup at breakfast one day - so it looks sexy/moody. Stewart

2009 Texas School - Powers Class - Environmental Wedding Session
Our third session was at a location we had never seen and our job was to create thrilling environmental portraits and illustrations using the light and architecture we found. Our models were wonderful again. We started with Emily wearing her real wedding dress. Then we worked with Ramon and Michelle for some cool individual and couples photos and ended with sunset images before the mosquitoes carried us off. All of these are natural light except for the last one that had some flash. Stewart

2009 Texas School - Powers Class - Engagement Session
Our first session at Texas School was an engagement session for the purpose of a guest sign-in book. So we planned a story and we were really pleased to have a real couple - Mike and Emily. Handsome and beautiful is always good. We wanted to make some beautiful, some fun & some sexy photos.
Our new friend Glen had a cool car that he loaned us for the session. We jumped the curve with the car to get it in position - better to ask forgiveness that to seek permission.
These are a few images from the story we made and I think there are some hot ones here. I am jealous of the photographer that Emily hired to document her wedding this fall. What a great couple. Stewart

2009 Texas School - Powers Class
Susan and I flew over to Arlington, TX last week to spend five days teaching at the fabulous Texas School of Professional Photography. There were 1036 students at the school this years. We had a great time and met a lot of great people. Let me introduce them to you with our class photo.
The second day we photographed in a church and did the basic poses. Groups and portraits of the B & G models. The last photo is funny because it captures what it is like to be instructing with 25 other photographers snapping away. Whoa!
More tomorrow. Stewart

Trace has Gator theme wardrobe
This is a happy child. Well dressed in gator theme clothing including camouflage gator overalls. Wow! He is quite a sport - displaying his strong arm and the number 1 for the Gator Nation. Trace's parents are raising him well. I am impressed. Stewart

Ms. Addison and her special dress
Ms. Addison came by for a session and to show off her special dress. She is such a big girl. I have photographed her since she was a baby - well she is actually still a baby - but I feel like I know her. She is a gorgeous child with a lot of curiosity and she loves to smile. She and Ms. Susan and the frog puppet are close buddies. Photographing babies is a great job. - Stewart

The Many Faces of MacKenzie - Pt. 1
It was sort of a drizzly day and were were not sure the weather would hold for us to complete a garden session with Ms. MacKenzie. These images are from the end of the session and we made them a nice browntone. I love her face all the time but look at her gentle expression in the first image when she was siting by our garden pond looking for a fish or frog. Then she was all about fishing for the magnetic fish and I made a tri-panel for those. It did get a little wet at the end and when she asked for an umbrella I kept photographing. This was lots of fun. Part 2 next - Stewart
