Joann Sizzles

A few images from a recent CnK session for Joann that she will give to her honey. Lucky man. Joann is one of the sweetest, most beautiful young ladies and she has a big personality. Here she acts out her inner "sexy girl". Susan and I love to work with her. Enjoy! Stewart

Meet Brody - Our New Assistant in the Making

Meet Mr. Brody the adorable child of Stacy and Neal. He is planning on an illustrious carrer in photography and I plan to be his assistant in the future. Maybe he will be a swimsuit model photographer?
As you can see he is good friends with the Gator Nation and has the best smile ever. Mom & Dad helped him out for a few family photos and we got some great expressions. Brody is a joy to photograph and I think he looks like a combination of his pretty mother and his handsome dad - imagine that!
Thanks - Stewart

Brody had a few questions about the flavors of camera straps available
but he was totally hip with selective AF active focus points.

Yes the Powers do have the tastiest posing chairs I have had - all day!. Actually we all
know the joys of teething - and Mr. Brody really had a great attitude.

We are Blogged!!!

We have been blogged. Or at least our daughters wedding was the subject - visit Masterpiece Weddings to see some of the photos. Part 2 was up today - Monday.
Melissa and her ladies were a vital part of that smooth & wonderful day. Thanks. Stewart & Susan

Cool addition to MP3 player - Rockbox really rocks

Rockbox is an open source firmware for mp3 players and it creates a much cooler, playful and well informed device. Set the colors, adjust the sound, play games and play music file formats previously unavailable on your device. It is like sending your mp3 player to a nerdy, ivy league college. Listen to FLAC and AAC music files without having to convert them to mp3. So totally cool - and free!!! It does 500 other things I have not mentioned - including being a metronome or a chess timer. It just blows my mind all the features. The instruction manual is over 180 pages.  Check it out at:

If you or a loved one every refers to yourself as a geek or nerd - then you have to have Rockbox on your music player.

It works with a wide variety of music players. I have a Apple ipod 60 gig and a Sansa C200 that I have converted. You can buy the Sansa music players every now and then if you watch for the daily woot sale at www.woot.com
From the Rockbox website>

It runs on a wide range of players:
  • Apple: 1st through 5.5th generation iPod, iPod Mini and 1st generation iPod Nano
(not the Shuffle, 2nd/3rd/4th gen Nano, Classic or Touch)
  • Archos: Jukebox 5000, 6000, Studio, Recorder, FM Recorder, Recorder V2 and Ondio
  • Cowon: iAudio X5, X5V, X5L, M5, M5L, M3 and M3L
  • iriver: iHP100 series, H100 series, H300 series and H10 series
  • Olympus: M:Robe 100
  • SanDisk: Sansa c200 series, e200 series and e200R series (not the AMS models)
  • Toshiba: Gigabeat X and F series (not the S series)

It is a Dog's world

Meet Maximilian - the young lab pup we had the honor to photograph the other day along with his doggy family. Max in all his bouncy glory is featured in the first two photos. Max hiding in the grass with the sad eyes may be my favorite photo this year that features someone not wearing a wedding dress.
We have known Max's owner/trainer Karen for many years. In fact we photographed her award winning lab Oliver as a puppy and he is 13 in the fourth photo below. A few years later we photographed Wesley as a bouncy pup and he is nine in the third photo. Last but not least is Fred the companion dog who is a complete sweetheart.
Oliver jumped in our small pond when we were taking his photo  - just more proof that lab's love the water. Our goldfish are still in therapy.

Meet Landon - Eight Days Young!

Newborn babies are so amazing. Susan and I feel blessed when ever we get to meet such a fresh, young soul. Landon has great parents that wanted us to capture some photos of their latest creation. The typical problem is that newborns do not open their eyes too much. Landon surprised us. He acted like at least a 16 day old - eyes wide open - even some facial expressions. I love the photo of Landon in his dads hands. They will have a laugh about that when Landon is 16 years old.

The favorite photo would have to be the sleeping Landon reflection image. That is real baby art in my opinion. Thanks for this moment - Stewart
