Susan and I visited Wisconsin the past five days to attend their professional photographer's annual convention. I judged their print competition and we did an all day program on wedding photography Monday 3-2-09 and now we are back home.
These are photo's I made with a small snapshot camera at the Wisconsin party. They have four sections that compete at the party for a prize - a wooden bull statue. The party was a wedding theme - so each group had a bride, bridal party, attendants, family members and more all dressed to be hilarious.
I have written a caption to explain the photos. It was so silly and funny - each group paraded into the ballroom and danced and staged a mock ceremony. They had photographers, officiants, bartenders, servers, lap dancers - the whole wedding party in a parade.
We had a great time and hope to return to Madison, Wi. asap. Great people - great fun.

This bride arrived to the ceremony not quite ready - and had a few details left to complete. She talked on a cell phone and did her nails in the middle of the dance floor.

Two more brides ready for the fake big moment.

A happy newly wedded Wisconsin couple.

This is a living bouquet. And yes - the bride did throw her.

Bride (man) escorted by her father (lady) - grabbing the beer away from him.

Two elegant family members from the bridal party with the adult beverages of their choice. These two guys are actually very famous and renowned photographers.

Indeed, we need an 80's wedding photographer with the big hair and a leisure suit.

The cyborg wedding photography team. He has the second light attached to a helmet.

The curvaceous hotel security guard named Ivana Bribe who kept everyone in disorder.

One bride to be brought her young-in in a wagon with his over sized baby bottle. He won the dance contest.
